Q: redeeming card????

I redeemed my iTunes card following the instructions, and the amount of credit I have shows up on the top row of info. However, when I try to download an app from the store, it asks for billing info, and when I put in the code, says the card has already been redeemed, but is not connecting to the credit from the card - so in effect I canot purchase anything. As my computer skills are in the stone age, have no idea how to fix this. Help!! :-)

    It is probably asking for credit card verification, not the iTunes card.  It will still get charged to the iTunes card but it seems the billing informtion is often requested too, perhaps to verify that you are present in the country for the store you are using (I don't know why but it's a frequent observation here).
