a problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded

I get this error message repeatedly when I'm trying to type in a response on a forum thread or something like that. Then the dialog box comes up "Safari unexpectedly quit" or something. This can happen 1/2 dozen times in a 10-15 minute period! It's driving me crazy. Anybody have any ideas for a fix?

I have a MacBook Pro, v. 10.9. Never had this problem until a couple of weeks ago and I don't recall installing or updating anything that could have caused it.

Start by resetting Safari, Safari in the menu bar, click reset.

Check thru this, there quite a few things that may be causing it. Check software updates, as they have been releasing some fixes.

You may consider doing a backup, and reinstall OSX as well.

It's a bug with the latest version of Safari. Apple unfortunately has not found nor acknowledge the issue. So it's a waiting game.

I have this same issue, browsing with Safari is nearly impossible on my iPad 2 with latest IOS updates. I was only successful in loading this forum web page using Chrome on the iPad, which seems to be running fine.
