You can't delete photos straight on the iPod nano. You have to remove the photos from your iTunes library first, then sync iPod with iTunes, the photos will be deleted from your iPod nano. Or you can use some third party software like this iPod file manager, it can work as iTunes alternative to delete photos on your iPod.

It can not be done from the ipod, you would need to:

1. Plug it into the computer.

2.Press the Ipod button.

3. Click the photos button.

4. Unsync the photos selected.
