I have just bought a Apple Tv. I have linked it up and updated the firmware.
I can mirror my iphone and ipad but can't get my Macbook to link up.
I'm running Mavericks, up to date and have no airplay icon on my screen. Really get annoyed now!!😠

Try turning off IPV6 on the Mac, some users have reported this causing problems.
I have turned off my firewall. I have got no further. My Macbook doesn't acknowledge the Apple TV!!!!
