I've never had any difficulty finding the combo update before. Any link or advice is appreciated. Thank you.

There's never a combo update for the first update to a major Mac OS X release, as it's the only one.

There is no combination update yet because there is only one incremental update currently. Combo updates combine the components of each incremental OSX update into one package. Since there is only one incremental update as of now, there is no combination update.
You can install 10.9.1 from the App Store or from the link given below:
