What server software AND / OR digital asset management software is best suited for a 15-20 user Mac Network to enable all users to access our 14,000 TB archive database that's stored on a Windows Server?

I am asking this question on behalf of my graphic design department, we are looking for more efficient way of archiving our 14,000 TB graphic design database.

Our current way of archiving and searching for older job files:

Each job receives a docket number, we catalog our docket numbers and job information into a program called Supercard.

When the job is completed we then burn the graphic design files for a job to DVDs. (We want to eliminate having to burn files to DVDs to save time).

We go into Supercard to enter the DVD number that belongs with the job. (We want to find a better solution that would eliminate the need to use Supercard).

If we need to look up files that have already been archived to DVD then we search for the job's docket number in Supercard and see which DVD number was assigned to that job. (We want to switch from archiving to DVDs and using Supercard, to instead be able to search through our archives on a Windows Server, our IT department only knows how to work with Windows Servers).

THE QUESTION:

What server software AND / OR digital asset management software is best suited for a 15-20 user Mac Network to enable all users to access our 14,000+ TB archive database that's stored on a Windows Server?

These four factors must be factored into the solution:

The software has to be MySQL compatible.

The software has to be able to do very very fast searches so we can find the files we are looking for within a couple seconds (it needs to be faster than using the Spotlight search field).

The software has to have technical support available, or at least be something North American friendly, great customer service is a must!

The software has to have longevity, we need to know that the software company isn't going to fold anytime soon (we want to be able to trust and build a good relationship with a company).
