Samsung driver for ML-1210 for os 10.9

I have been using the Samsung ML-1210 printer for years using operating systems all the way up to 10.6.8.

I now have a new computer running 10.9 and can not find a driver. I spent 30 minutes in chat with Samsung and they could not help.

Does anyone know of a driver that will work?

Thank you.

For anyone coming here and unable to access the linked instructions: you can still install legacy support for this printer on newer version of OSX by downloading the Samsung GDI drivers from here: http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosx/samsun g-gdi

You need to install:

  1. Foomatic-RIP
  2. Ghostscript
  3. Samsung GDI

Preferably in that order. Note: These are for older versions of the OS but the most recent ones still work as of 10.9.

After that, your printer will be recognized as a Foomatic device and it even works wirelessly through an Airport Extreme (when plugged into the Airport via USB)!
