Hey there, just bought a Apple TV. When I set it all up for the first time today and switched it on the TV screen went Green displaying the Apple logo, and then went black with the message. No signal. Can you advise please. Thank Iain

Is this a used ATV? Sounds like it is set for TV resolution other than the one you have. You need to try to reset the video settings. Try holding the menu button down while pushing and holding the down selector on the remote. That should restart it and let you change the video settings.
yeah Brain, it was a refurb i bought from apple.com.
I tried the reset but that does not seem to have worked, still the same is happening, even tried on a diffrent TV and diffrent HDMI cable but still the same 😟
Did it restart when you held those buttons down for 10 seconds?
Sorry for the delay, I got the ATV for my dad, so I was trying to ask him for the phone to try things, now that Iam with him, I can try it.
I have done the reset on, and it did reset, the light blinked, but when it restarted it was just the same, green screen with the apple logo,
Can you think of anything else.
