Izotope Ozone, Trash & Spectron now UB

Just thought I would let everyone know that Izotope has updated Ozone, Trash and Spectron and have made them UB (at least according to their UB icon on the products). It just got released today.

There's no right way. Anything you do with Trash can eventually wind up being useful. If you know what kind of sound you are after, then it is probably best to do a tiny bit of analyzing to see how that sound is made up. For example, knowing what type of tube combination should be used in order to make a certain amp, and then complementing it with a certain speaker emulation. In a way, it's no different that when one is using something like GAP and wants to make their own guitar amp model.

I used Trash in a couple of mixes as a saturation plug-in and I was very impressed with the warmth from it. I will be honest in that I have yet to try it as a guitar amp (although the demos I heard of it are somewhat impressive).

Download the Trash Recipes in the Guides section of Izotope's site. It should give you a little more insight as to what Trash can do.
