In IOS 6 i used to customize contact details numbers freely, but now in IOS7 i'm limited with certain values like i can only add one mobile number to the same person, and the icon of sending a message to this person only appears next to the mobile filed. There is a work around that i can use which is "send message" and i select the different number, but apple removed such feature?

Of course you can add multiple Mobile numbers. Multiple anything for that matter. Tap Add number in the contact app, select Mobile in the type and enter the number.

Yes, I just tried it and it works fine for me.
You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.
Nope, just did reset to my phone and it didn't work out. Is it because i'm synchronizing my contacts with outlook 2013 and outlook 2013 doesn't have mutliple mobile number under the same category "mobile"?
I do not use Outlook or Exchange so perhaps that's it.
