Q: iOS 7 keeps turning on Restrictions

Yesterday, I was shocked to find Restrictions turned on in my iPad. I have not used Restrictions since iOS 7 now locks out the ability to disable "Find my iPad" without dealing with Restrictions.  Furthermore, and more troubling, was that none of my known pass-codes worked!

Today I was able to reset and disable restrictions with the following help:

...Refers to this post containing the actual fix:

(It is essentially an edit to springboard.plist adding a "SBParentalControlsPIN" value of "1234." This is documented in several other places so I will not get into more details here.)

Like others on the thread, I was a bit dubious on how restrictions (which again I have not used since iOS 6) were turned on in the first place.

However, now my suspicions are confirmed: About four hours after Restoring my iPad and turning off Restrictions, somehow they turned back on, again without any pass-codes that I know! I have not let my iPad out of sight, and I am positive I did not turn Restrictions on during this time.

I will of course go through the fix procedure again, but what could be causing this? Naturally I cannot yet Jailbreak iOS 7, but I also never jailbroke my iPad at any time - but could some rogue app be doing this? (Remember it attempts to turn off "Find my iPad" and locks the ability to turn it back on.)

iPad Mini (first gen - AT&T (USA) 32GB)

iOS 7.0.4

Oh, and my iPhone 5 (also first gen - AT&T 64GB on 7.0.4) connected to the same iCloud and containing essentially the same apps does NOT have this problem!

Does anyone have any ideas on this? I do not like the proposition of having to Restore my iPad every single day in order to continue having full-access to my iPad!

Thanks much in advance!

This happened to me too in front of my eyes.

Went through the whole plots thing to fix.

Worked. Disabled the restrictions with 1234.

Noticed a few minutes later that restrictions was enabled again.  Used 1234 to disable them.  Then before my eyes before I could leave the settings page, they turned back on!

    Apple needs to fix this.
