Q: I use an iMac and Airport Extreme and cannot get Airport Utility to find my base station.

I use an Imac and Airport Rxpress. Wifi works well.

I have been trying to add a Canon printer with wifi and I'm failing to get it recognised. I opened Airport Utility and it sits there with the message "No configured Airport Base stations have been found. Airport Utility will continue searching". It never finds the base station!

Anyone know what's going on?

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), Using OS X 10.8.5

Please see this Apple support document and try the steps there....if you have not already done so.
