Q: How do you specify a non-standard SMTP port in the email configuration on ipad?

I don't see how to specify a non-standard SMTP port (555 in this case) when adding an email account. Any ideas?

You should be able to specify a port in the Advanced area of the email account.

Settings > Mail Contacts Calendar > Tap on the email account > Scroll down to Advanced >  Server Port > tap to enter an specific port number.

Settings->Mail, Contacts & Calendar->Your Account->Outgoing Mail Server->Tap on the Server you wish to edit from the list or the Primary if that's the one you want.  Then tap on Server Port to edit the value.

The problem is that I can't get to the advanced section until the initial setup is done, which I can't complete because it can't verify the SMTP configuration with the default port. Catch 22!
