Wireless Trackpad ISSUE

Hello, Welcome to my Post.

I have brought a NEW MAC to my FAMILY... a MAC MINI... latest.... I had already had wireless trackpad. and wired keyboard.. of MAC...

I loaded NEW UM3 batteries to power my Wireless Trackpad at start... today... i have noticed that... it got drained within 4 - 5 hrs.... and then... being puzzled .. i loaded new Alkaline DURACELL batteries... but.. that worked for 10 min.. and got.. heated and started showing.... LOW battery status.. the trackpad is working fine.. with all it's features... but.. eating the battery... like elephant.. wondering what is wrong... my battery of Wireless Trackpad is getting Zero.. very very very fast... Any suggestion or help will be great....
