Airport express A1084

Hello, I’ve been reading every single post regarding the Airport Express and have tried everything (or so I think) posted here but I haven’t found an answer.

I have an airport express A1084 that is not connected to my wifi (no internet connectivity). I have been able to airplay Pandora from my Iphone 4 to my sound system through it. Only 1 song, because of course, if I’m connected to it (AE) I don’t have connectivity.

My question, is it possible (and practical) for the AE A1084 to join my current network (Att uverse) so I can wirelessly stream pandora from my iphone to the sound system?

Connecting the ethernet cable to it is not an option. I have PCs with AE utility 4.2 and 5.6.
