My DVD player on Mac Book Pro is immediately ejecting the DVD. What could be causing this problem? The DVD is brand new and just out of its packing.

I just bought a brand new DVD, but my Mac Book Pro is automatically ejecting it when I put it in to play. Any ideas what the problem could be and how to fix it?

There are some movie DVDs that have some copy protection that make it not readable under a Mac's built-in optical drive. Or the speed the disc was burnt is not supported. Contact the movie studio and ask them how it might have been burnt.
