My ipod doesn't want to restore what should I do?

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps..

But... if the Device has been Modified... this will Not necessarily work.

That means you did not get the iPod in recovery mode.

Try DFU mode and then restore

not once have i got that message.....

Now it wont turn on at all!!!!!!!!!

it just turned on but IT'S STILL DISABLED! none of these worked for me! i am so frustrated and i am crying because none of this is working and i'm scared i might never be able to get on my ipod again!!!!

AnaMusic had a good suggestion.

I got a iPhone returned at work during the holidays. It had the same issue. I followed the recovery mode procedure and it worked fine.

It was painfully long and I need my iTunes to connect, but I was able to factory reset it.
