I'm attempting to export from FCPX and it consistently fails with a different error message each time.
I have deleted all the render files and that makes no difference. Any ideas as to why this is failing?

Did you switch off App Nap? Switch off background rendering? Leave the computer untouched during export?
App Nap is off, background rendering was on. Just disabled it and now running the export again. Thanks for your help on this.

When using Compressor it fails 9 out of 10 times, but the one time that it did succeed with a 'Successful' message it produced a file that had no video content:
Did you delete the render files?
Exactly what Compressor settings are you using? What is that a screen shot of? What application? Where's that text coming from?

Any Compressor settings fail, I've tried about 8 different presets.
The screenshot is of the video that had a 'successful' message after export, yet it looks like that.
The text on the left side is a Title.

So it's exporting the title, but not the underlying image. That seems very strange, like it can't read it. What are the media specs of the underlying image.

No, to clarify FCPX is NOT exporting anything after 50+ attempts. This one above may have been a mistake.
All video is .MOV captured from Canon DSLRs

Updating to Final Cut Pro X 10.1 has solved this exporting issue. 10.0.8 and 10.0.9 both failed on exports, 10.1 works.
