How do I remove a game from game Center. My iPad is iOS 5.1.1

Try opening Game Center-games tab at bottom-my iOS games, slide the game to the left and remove.

My iOS version is as high as I can get with the iPad 1. Doesn't have the slide option like the higher iOS devices.
