Can't send Yahoo mail using Mail app

So, I'm used to every now and then getting the verify password or unable to connect message for my Yahoo account in Mail. However, I've been getting it for the past week or so now. It downloads messages without any problem, but refuses to send any out. I've deleted teh account multiple times and added it back, no change. I can send messages just fine from the Yahoo site, as well as my iPhone without any trouble.

This is getting very frustrating. I'm lettign Mail set up the account on it's own each time I tried to re-add it. I've also followed the settings on the Yahoo help page - neither works.

Anyone else having this issue too?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

You need to use the Software Update feature first because they just released a Mail fix of some sort yesterdaay.

I ran the updates the other day via the app store, and just did it again tonight. Everything is up to date, and as of tonight, I still can't send via mail using my yahoo account. Yet the messages still download fine.

I've had this happen on and off int he past, but usually within a day or two or after a restart it fixes itself, but no so luck so far.
