Q: My photos are not saving to my Icloud even though I have ticked all the boxes to green on my iphone 5s..I have to do this manually what can I do to enusre they save automatically?

My photos are not savifng directly and automatically to the icloud even though I have clicked ont he boxxes on the iphone 5s so they are green so how can i make this happen as yesterday I had to save them manually and still there is no folder for pictures on my icloud ...how can i rectify this?

Also I deleted a special photo from my phone by mistake within an hour of taking it and it is saved nowhere is there anyway I can retrieve it? I wish there were a recycle bin on the iphone 5s for pictures ....

    Welcome to the Apple Community Catlou.

     

    1. Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
    2. Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
    3. Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device

     

    Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.

     

    Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.
