Hi! Can wifi-only ipad use the gps of an iphone via bluetooth?

I plan to buy a wifi only ipad mini. I know that this model doesn't come with with gps.

I know we can use the connection of an iphone (or any other smartphone) for internet.

But can we use the gps of an iphone on the ipad via bluetooth? I plan to use navigation apps (like Air Navigation Pro).

Than you for your help!

No, you cannot access the GPS of the iPhone in that way. It can only be tethered for Internet access.

If you have an iPhone, you can use those navigation apps on that device. You don't need the iPad.

If you still want to, there are a coupld of GPS receivers that others have mentioned here as working with iDevices.See here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4801732?answerId=21235906022#21235906022
