Does the I Cloud backup/restore also include music NOT purchaced from I Tunes?

This is my question; Does the I Cloud backup/restore also include music NOT purchaced from I Tunes? I hope that if I do a I Cloud back up it will include my non-I Tunes songs.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

No. Music from sources other than the iTunes Store will only be in the cloud if you signed up for iTunes Match.

Thanks Niel, that is what I thought. How do you sign up for Match and do they charge for it?
