Having problems downloading the latest Windows support software by Apple

Hello, I am trying to install Windos 7 in my imac, via bootcamp, but every time I try to download the latest Windows support software for my imac, using bootcamp assitant, in the beggining of my download a message appears that I can not download this software because it is not available in the Software Actualizations Server. I have seen a lot of videos as to how install windows in my imac, followed every step, but I keep on having this same problem that does not let me finish, and in the videos they do not say anything about this issue. I have had this problem since yesterday. If anyone can help me, thank you.

iMac, iOS 7.0.4

I do not recommend to download the Windows support software from Boot Camp Assistant, as it often fails.

Instead, most Macs can download the Windows support software from the Apple website. Go to this website, and choose your Mac model and the Windows version you wish to install (under "Boot Camp requirements by Mac model"). Finally, download the correct Windows support software

Hi there,

the software is the same you would get from Boot Camp assistant, based on your model.

If you only want to make an installation volume, you can in fact check only the first option, and use the third checkbox at a later time when you are ready to install

Essentially, you can use all three options independently from one another, or all of them at once, or just the first and third one.
