I need to download Internet Explorer 7.0 to my backbook. Is it workable and Safe?
Also, Is there some way to have on my MacBook Virtual PC v.4.0+ since for work I need to have either Windows 7 or XP or the virtual and do not want to spend money.

1. It can't be run outside of Windows, CrossOver Mac, or WineSkin.
2. Virtual PC only runs on PowerPC Macs. Use a product such as VirtualBox, Parallels Desktop, or VMware Fusion instead.

Crossover and WINE offer a way to install Windows applications applications without fully installing Windows.
Note, any website which requires Internet Explorer any version isn't 100% safe. However, you can make your Mac web browser spoof itself as a Windows web browser, assuming no components actually require Windows only ActiveX features. See my FAQ*:
