I am unable to access incoming messages from Verizon because of a change they made recently. It seems they can no longer handle Apple mail. Is this true?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Our 2 computers both use Apple Mail with Verizon without problems. When Verizon made the change, I had a lot of problems implementing it, but was able to do so. I ended up on the telephone with their mail support to fix the last account.

in - pop.verizon.net SSL enabled port 995 password


out - smtp.verizon.net SSL enabled port 465
