how do i change my password

If you've forgotten it then you can change it via http://iforgot.apple.com

If you just want to change it then on your iPod you can tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on it, tap 'view Apple id' on the popup and log in, and you should be able to change it there. Or you can do it on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option
