Doc worked on iPad pages not available in iCloud

I worked on a doc on my iPad last night. I cant find this doc in my iCloud account on my PC. Is there something I need to do to sync both devices? I am pretty sure I did enable the my iPad with iCloud and I thought it would automatically be available from the web (like it happens in DropBox).
