Whenever I go and type up a new stickie and I restart my computer, it reverts back to a stickie from the beginning of november that was not ever saved.
I'm not sure why this is happening or how i can fix this.
In the terminal this shows up
Library/.StickiesDatabase: No such file or directory
MacBook, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
There is a circle on the top left of a stickie:
When you click there you see this:
Click on Don't Save will trash that stickie.
thanks, but that is not the problem I've already done this..
My problem is when i do quit the applicaiton and click do not save, that exact same sticky note comes back
With Finder active, hold the Option key down and click on Go in the menu bar. Select Library in the drop down, then scroll through the contents of Library to the Preferences folder. In that folder look for com.apple.finder.plist.
Trash that file and restart.

Just caught this - quitting the application and selecting "do not save" tells the computer not to save what you just did. i.e. do not delete the stickie.
Next time you quit the app, tell it you do want to save.
"Library" is not a choice.
There is no circle on the top left corner.
