If you don't know the admin password then it is either not your Mac or you bought it second-hand.

Dec 18, 2013 4:07 PM in response to Klaus1by pmosh,actually I did read the post. This computer was donated to the non-profit I volunteer with. I'm attempting to get this unit working. The donor doesn't remember the admin password and the usual Control S at start-up only goes to the main login page not the single-user page as expected.
