How do I save one page of a multi page document, on a MacBook Pro?

One way is to from the print dialog, save it as a PDF rather than printing it.

Select the page range you want and then save it as PDF.

Select PDF is at the lower left of the Print Dialog, then Save as PDF

You are correct. If you explore the Adobe reader print dialog you can eventually find such a dialog - But don't bother, because when you select it it says "not Supported".

Any reason you can't use Preview for this option?

It certainly works there.

That depends so much on the application you're using:-

You could save the document under a different name, then delete all the pages you don't want, resave and there's your two pages.

You could open a new two page document, copy & paste from the two pages you want and save the resulting two page document

Acrobat (full Acrobat, not Adobe Reader) has an extract page(s) utility...

Let us know what software you're using and we might be able to give you a more detailed precise answer.

Anyway, it depends on the source of the document. If its, for example, word, then make a copy and remove the extra pages. If its something else, likea web page or a PDF, then go to print, selct the page range you want and then--> save as PDF. Its rally no different than on windows if that's what you are used to. Most apps crate their own print sialog boxes.

It would help if you were more spcific about everything, from what kind of document to what you are trying to accomplish. Aside from helping us, it makes you really think abotu the problem, and then often you can answer your own question.

I rarely do that. Let's start with "it was easy on a PC". OK, hwo did you do it onthe PC?

Let's start there. On a mac you can use either preview or adobe reader to read PDFs. You can then "print" whatevery subset of pages you want to a file (print --> select page range --> PDF --> save as PDF) and email that file. Seems pretty easy to me. But what was your procedure on the PC?
