I have 5 video credits. What can I apply them to specifically? Movie rentals or TV series episodes? Also, can I redeem them in HD?

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I have 3 rental credits, and I've rented a few things but haven't seen them applied to any rental yet.
I wonder if you're on to something with the HD question.
