Time Machine stuck cleaning up

Hi everyone,

Is that normal that Time Machine take hours in "Cleaning up" stage? I do my firts Time Machine on a USB 2.0 external HDD and TM seems to be stuck on "cleaning up", since 2h now.

I see that it propose "Skip cleaning up", if I skip it, would the backup be usable or I'll have to do another back up?
