can I delete my library in Itunes when I have all uploaded to Itunes Match so I can safe the space on my MacBook Air?

You can remove your songs from the iTunes library if you want, but you cannot delete the iTunes library or you will lose other files.

iTunes Match only stores songs, not anything else, so if you delete your iTunes library, you will lose apps, books, audiobooks, movies...
