Force close on iPod touch 4 after update to ios 6.1.5

Is there any possible way to downgrade from ios 6.1.5 to an earlier ios 6 version. Ios 6.1.5 is horrible and keeps crashing on my 4th gen iPod touch. It was almost perfect before I screwed up and updated. I do not want to jailbreak my iPod! I just want to return to an earlier ios. Please help me

All we ca say in this Apple forum is that downgrading the iPod is not supported by Apple.

Have you tried:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
