After upgrading from Keynote 5 to Keynote 6, movie clips that have been flipped horizontally show correctly in the build but flip back to the original position when played in presentation mode. Very annoying as I have several hundreds of those in my presentations.
Any fix known or planned?

Thanks Gary, it somewhat helps to know not to be the only one out there.
The first Keynote 6 update brought back some abandoned transitions (not all but some) but it did not solve the flipped video problem.
Keynote 6.1 update unfortunately did not fix the problem that flipped or rotated video clips flip back to the original position when played in presentation mode.
I hope Apple people are listening in and providing a remedy quickly.
There is a promised 6 month update period during 2014 to sort out these problems, many users are using the previous version until 6 is working as it should.
Thanks, but Keynote 5.3 is unacceptably unstable on Mavericks. I have had it crash during preparations and presentations too many times. It is either Keynote 6 with all its flaws or no Keynote.
Keynote 5.3 is stable for most users in Mavericks, the posts here demonstrate that, in fact 5.3 for me works better in Mavericks now than it did in the past.
I have Mavericks running on an external bootable drive connected with USB as I still need to use Snow Leopard on the internal drive for current projects. It was a clean install of Mavericks from a newly erased drive, it runs without any issues and its fast. I'v discovered that Mavericks users that have problems have all updated to Mavericks and not a clean install.
May MacBook Pro Retina came with Mavericks.
I am fine with simple Keynote files up to about 100 MB and Keynote 5.3. However my Keynote files typically have 1 GB or more and they do not even open on Mavericks without crashing 5.3.
I have the same issue. I had a presentation working where the movie was flipped. Now it does not flip anymore. If I played out of presentation mode it plays flipped. But it is played in presentation mode it goes back to the original. Please fix this!!!
We are all awaiting fixes for these QuickTime problems.
My normal though is to use a video editor application to make any effects, save as a QT and place this on the slide.
Apple people actually approached me about this issue roughly 1 month ago. I mailed them a few examples, including some examples of other bugs to take advantage of the established contact. I have not heard of them since. But at least they seem to be taking it seriously and hopefully they are working at it.
Gary's suggestion is helpful but if you have hundreds of those clips like I do this means many hours of "unproductive" work to get something going again that was working fine before the update.
Updarte 6.2 has not resolved the issue of video clips flipping back into their original unflipped and unrotated position during presentation in presentation mode while they run in the desired flipped or rotated position in the assembly mode.
Update 6.2.2 has not fixed the issue either although I had sent samples of the problem to Apple upon request and was pretty optimistic that they would resolve it..
Update 6.5.2. (2119) finally fixed the flipped video problem, thank you. It took more than 1 year.
