Q: can I retrieve a video that has been accidently deleted from my iphone?

My son has accidently deleted a video from my i phone. It is of a very special family event. Is there any way it can be retreived?

 

Also, I hadnt synced the phone with my laptop as it keeps telling me my memory is full and wont allow. I have tried deleting unused apps but still canto sync. Any ideas?... I did have iCloud backup on but when i have just logged into it (for the first time) there doesnt seem to be a photo / video section..

    If you backed up your phone to iCloud while the video was still on it, restoring the backup should recover it.  To restore the backup you have to start by erasing your phone so you'll need to save any newer data that isn't contained in the backup before restoring it.  Also, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage to confirm that you phone is listed under Backups.  You can find out when it was last backed up by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and looking at the very bottom under Back Up Now.

     

    To restore your backup go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, then go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts.  Be sure the phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup.
