The latest update has already caused problems, Final Cut can't find my old projects and events to update. Can anyone offer any advise?

On update Final cut updated some of my projects and events bringing them into the new interface. I had older projects that I didn't want visible before the update in folders labled 'Final Cut Events (Hidden)'. The update couldn't see these and since I can't find a way of bringing them into Final cut 10.1.

Every attempt ends with a message indicating that no projects can be found.

Any advise welcome.
