Dec 19, 2013 2:22 PM in response to SnowmanTacklerby mvest20,This sounds more like a Windows issue than a hardware problem. It could be the wireless card driver, but I would imagine it is something related to Windows. Have you tried connecting to the network from the Mac partition? If that works, I would recommend trying to reinstall Windows 7.

Dec 19, 2013 2:27 PM in response to mvest20by SnowmanTackler,Reinstall Windows was no help.
I agree with you in that the driver is probably the culprit, the driver that I installed through bootcamp.
Lots of other laptops connect fine to this network, so I don't think its a 'Windows' issue, I think it's specific to the Macbook or maybe just this Macbook.

Dec 19, 2013 8:30 PM in response to SnowmanTacklerby mvest20,If that's the case it's definitely a software problem in Windows. It could be a driver, or it could be a software problem. When you reinstalled Windows did you completely reinstall or did you just reinstall and keep all of your settings?

Dec 20, 2013 11:40 AM in response to SnowmanTacklerby Tjohns34,This is probably a really stupid question, but after Windows was installed and running, did you go to Control Panel >> Windows Update to see if they have a driver update for your wireless card?

Dec 21, 2013 1:02 PM in response to Tjohns34by SnowmanTackler,Tjohns, yea I updated the entire windows suite several times. I got service pack one installed, and basically kept updating until it told me there were not any more available.

Dec 23, 2013 9:56 AM in response to SnowmanTacklerby mvest20,I see. So if your Mac can connect, then it is not an issue with the laptop hardware. It has to be a Windows setting, and my guess would still be the driver. You can try and figure out exactly what wireless card is in your system (using System Profiler) and go to the vendors website and look for the correct driver and try to install using that method. (My 15" Retina has a Broadcom card in it, but I don't know if that is the case for all models.)
I'm sorry I'm not more help, but the only other thing that I could think of would be to re-download the Windows Support drivers for your system through the Boot Camp Assistant. Otherwise, it may be time to get on the phone with AppleCare and/or Microsoft to try and get to the bottom of it.
