Dec 19, 2013 12:12 PM in response to tsdogby James Cude,Are your old Events and Projects still in the root of the external drive? Then you should be able to update projects and events again.

Dec 19, 2013 3:47 PM in response to James Cudeby tsdog,I unplugged 2nd monitor and restarted.
I was able to transfer/update most of my old projects once doing it again.
BUT - All of the projects were put into their own EVENT - Annoying.
Footage was in separate EVENTS, but all in one "Library"
Trying to organize constantly crashes the system.
Would be nice to have upgrade guide or something to prevent this sort of trouble.
All old projects are basically screwed or all over the place.
Will have to rebuild on a case by case basis when I need them again. Don't have the time to go back over 2 years worth of work to fix everything. Would have been better to have this work.
It appears to work fine when starting from scratch, so my recomendation is if you have a lot of events and projects DON'T upgrade until you have organized everything in single folders no linked media. If you have Many Events those appear to be more Libraries now.
Really bad way to roll out an update. This could kill days of peoples lives in fix work. Annoying. I don't have time for this. My only saving grace is that All my projects were OLD so I didn't loose current material. But give it a week and that would not have been the case.
Who tests this stuff?

Dec 19, 2013 4:09 PM in response to tsdogby Tom Wolsky,The projects get put there if they access multiple events and you suck on everything at once. Move the project into whatever event you want as the default event.
Haven't crashed the app yet. Might be sonething with your system or media.
