Deleting a home folder securely? How long to complete
I'm deleting one of my user accounts and checked the delete home folder securely But is has been running for 3 hours and still sez deleting user account. How long should I expect to finish ?..

How big is it?
A secure delete has to securely overwrite the files a number of times. I think the default is 8 times. So if you had a multiple GB folder it indeed could take many, many hours.
