Unable to access "Watch ABC" via AppleTV. I tapped the icon and was led to the Comcast activation code. Inserted the code in the WatchABC.com/activate. Next page indicates that I'm not an xfinity subscriber. I am of course.
Comcast support was absolutely worthless.
WatchABC support line suggested for me to change browsers to Chrome from Safari.

Jeff, I can't even get my activation code. How did you do that. I have tapped on the Watch ABC icon on my Apple TV and then it says visit Watchabc.com./activate. But when I go there and list comcast I am asked again for an activation code. How do I get it?
Just figured it out. I am using Chrome however. Sorry that it isn't working. Very frustrating.

Per a Level 5 user Apple will not get involved with sparse threads such as this. It's the same problem - AppleTV doesn't work with featured programming. More voices are needed in one single discussion.
Apple needs to remove Watch ABC from the app store.
Reviews indicate this app has not worked for some time. Now with the Jan. 6 mandated shift to this newer App, we all appear stuck with a non functioning app.
I can not get it to load on the iPad, on the iPhone it refuses to recognize my user-Id. I successfully logged in on my MacAir, so the access works from the web on the macair. No good accessing from the iPad however, from the web browser it insists on using the app - the app that does not work.
Please Apple, hold ABC accountable and remove the Watch ABC app and make the older View ABC App available, it works.

For what it's worth, there are over 3,000 one star reviews for the updated Watch ABC app on the App Store. I emailed Watch ABC Support on Monday and did receive an email saying they were aware of the problem and working to fix the app. I deleted the App from my iPad and reloaded it and did NOT sign in. At least I can watch older episodes . . . hope they fix it soon!

Sign out under settings in the Abc App.

when you go back to watch a show it will promt you to re-activate online. (select remain logged-in when enter password.)
Does this work for Apple TV also? I can't find the the sign out feature. Maybe cuz I'm not logged in?
Yes. The sign out should be under settings inside the abc app, at the bottom it says sign out...
I have an older apple tv and I get an activation code but when i go to the computer to put it in there is not where for me to imput the code. i already have a sign in and password for the app on my computer? i dont get a sign in and password page on my apple tv for watchabc. i cant even watch the programs, help?

I'm trying to get ABC APP on my TV they Apple, so of course I went to WATCHABC.com/activate on my iPad and was brought to iTunes support. My tv has an activation code but as no surprise to me I find nothing on iTunes leading me how to continue this set up and where to apply this said "activation code" the closest thing I have is your blog stating "you tapped the icon which you then received the code" then you went to WATCHABC activate and entered the code. My question is where did you find this option, in iTunes? I'm am so lost and aggrevated and angry...u name it especially after being on the phone for hours with my provider. Can u help me please? Your time and guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
