Q: Huge .mov file. Need a DVD

Hello,

I have a file that I uncompressed in FCP X becasue it was choppy during playback. The result is a 39 Gb monster that I am having trouble getting into a managable size for a DVD. The end goal is to burn a DVD that will be projected. Any thoughts? Thanks!

My thought would be not to use a DVD (although you  might wanr one for back-up). The size of the input file is not relevant; the length (duration) is important for disk authoring, Make an h.264 Quick Time file and run it from your computer to the projector.
