How to resume app download?

I am downloading GTA San Andreas for iOS from my Mac. my internet is so slow it takes 20 hours to download, and i accidently quit iTunes with 4 hours remaining in the download, so i defintely will avoid starting the download from the beggining at all costs. In the iTunes media folder, i found a folder called GTA San Andreas_tmp which had 2 files in it, one called download and one called List.plist, so i copied to my desktop. If i delete it from iTunes Media>Downloads, and then put it back in or try anything like that it still doesnt appear in itunes. When i check for availabel downloads, it downloads other purchases(including iOS apps) but GTA refuses to appear again. Any way i can RESUME the download using the .tmp folder?
