my itunes movie download got interrupted and now i can't find it.

I was in the process of downloading some movies when the download was interrupted. Now i can't get teh downloads. When i try to open the movie, it says that that it hasn't been downloaded yet adn that i should go to "Downloads" to manage my downloads. However, itunes doesn't show that i'be purchased it/??? Help.
