10.9 mavericks trouble with final cut pro file

Hello, I just installed 10.9 mavericks on my mac, and I downloaded Final Cut Pro (newest version). When I open it, it says disk image not recognized. When I open up another .dmg file it is able to open. Any help here? The file is Finalcutprotrial10.1.dmg. I'd really appreciate some answers! Thanks!

The apple website, I got the 30 day trial. I had 10.8 for my mac before, but I downloaded FCP and it said I needed 10.9. So I realized I needed to update for numerous other things, so I updated to 10.9. I then went to apple.com and got the free trial. After it finished downloading, it said it didn't recognize the disk image. Should I try redownloading? User uploaded fileThanks!
