Q: Externally disc (PC) with iTunes

Hi

Anyone any experience with this tool when porting an iTunes library that is on an PC external disc?

does it recognise users on PC and their iTunes libraries, can they be merged into one library across 3 users.

how does it deal with authorisation / de-authorisation issues on the old PC, don't need the pc's to remain authorised post the migration.

Have an couple of iPods and iPads that sync with the old PC, will these be recognised to the new iMac ?

Imac sat in the box waiting to try this apparently seamless process.

anything else to watch out for ?

thanks

Ian

Part 2 of this document will walk you thru: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4527

No one has responded to your post because they know this info is available by simply Googling it.  I am not a proponent of that attitude mainly because i have seen a lot of former PC users asking questions that are percieved by some Mac purists as simplistic, when in fact, to those of you that have switched, they are not.

    Merry Xmas to you too

    Many thanks

What is not on Google is the genuine experience of the community and anything to watch out for, which is what I was after as a new user to the Apple experience.
