I tried to change the battery myself now my screen is unresponsive.

I have an iphone 5 that I tried to replace the battery myself. Unfortunately I screwed something up and now the screen is not responsive. It works, lights up, call come in but no touch is working. Do you know what I screwed up and what it would cost to fix it? Thanks
