Pages 4.1 stopped working on Mavericks, help?

I have been using Mavericks for 3 months and around early December I can't use Pages 4.1 anymore. This started after I saved a large document (containing images and my writings) and it crashed with this error message: "Pages quit unexpectedly while using the SFWordProcessing plug-in.". When I opened the same document in Pages 5.0, it worked flawlessly. However, opening Pages 4.1 (with or without opening the document) causes the same error message to appear and alternate between "Pages quit unexpectedly while using the SFWordProcessing plug-in." or "Pages quit unexpectedly after using the Pages plug-in." when I choose to reopen.

So far, I've tried:

1. Removing Hoefler font and reinstalling the latest version (didn't work)

2. Validating fonts, removing error and warnings font, empty trash (didn't work)

3. Boot to safe mode, open Pages 4.1 (still getting the same error message)

4. Boot to safe mode, restart, open Pages 4.1 (still getting the same error message)

5. Deleting Caches after step 2 from safe mode, normal restart, open Pages 4.1 (didn't work)

6. Restoring Pages 4.1 through Time Machine before the problem occured, restart, open Pages 4.1 (didn't work)

7. Login from Guess account, open Pages 4.1, it worked (I can open and create document on Guess account only without error message popping)

Is there a way to fix the error on Administrator account without reinstalling Mavericks or removing Pages 4.1?

I've included the latest Problem Details and System Configurations from error report:

*I will try to update Mavericks to 10.9.1 tomorrow. I will post result whether it worked or not.

I deleted HardDrive/Users/yourAccount/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iwork.pages.plist, still can't get old Pages to open.

I'm still using 4.1 since I moved to Mavericks from Snow Leopard and realized that I haven't update the old Pages. I will try to update Pages 4.1 to 4.3 (through this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5534) and Mavericks ASAP. Will keep you posted.

I updated Mavericks and Pages, and I still can't open Pages 4.3. It no longer had plugin error, only normal crash message (Pages quit unexpectedly). I tried opening some documents only to found the same crash message.

Posting the error report and console log from when I first opened Pages:

Do I need to reinstall Pages/iWork to fix this?

I have recently reinstalled iWork '09 along with 9.3 update (won't open in Mavericks without it) and got Pages working somehow. This can only work when Welcome to Pages window is open. It isn't the perfect fix, since closing said window will make Pages 4.3 quit unexpectedly.

Here is the error report if anyone is interested: http://pastebin.com/T2kwpYWQ

I'm quite satisfied with this fix as I can get back to work in old Pages (though I haven't found the real problem yet). Credits toPeterBreis0807for the reinstall suggestion.

@Dick1151

Yes, it is the latest version.

I still work with the old Pages because of its comprehensive inspector tab (I like to have the menu in one window with icons) and its layout. The new iWork is too clean and simple almost Ms.Office-like for me, just not my cup of tea.
