Macbook Air 2012 do not loads and recovery mode too slow

I have MacBook Air 2012 13".

It is with changed SSD (changed to OWC 240Gb, because original SSD is dead).

It worked well untill 2 days it stops load: gray screen without logos, indicators and anything else. Just gray screen.

It tried to load in recovery mode (CMD+R): it mode loaded in about 40 minutes (globe and progress bar loading too slow). After it loads it shows that I have not SSD. Ok. Maybe SSD is dead. But I decide to check it: removed SSD and load in recovery mode. It loads in 5-7 minutes. Earlier r-mode loaded in 1 minute.

What is the problem? SSD or other parts of Macbook Air?

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
